When I interviewed the Kardashian sisters a few years ago, I asked a question that many fans wonder about: how do they decide whether their children appear on camera?
Kourtney’s answer was refreshingly simple:
“I think we're really supportive of whatever they want. … If we shoot a family dinner … I always give them the option … let them know that it's being filmed.”
For her, it’s about choice — giving her children the freedom to participate or not, without pressure. Even though their family’s life is deeply public, Kourtney emphasized the importance of respecting boundaries and being understanding as a mom.
From Reality TV to a Billion-Dollar Brand
The Kardashians are no longer just reality TV stars — they’ve built an empire that spans beauty, fashion, and media.
Kim’s SKIMS is valued at around $4 billion.
Collectively, the family’s ventures are estimated to be worth billions more, with cosmetics, apparel, and endorsements under their umbrella.
Their media presence and businesses constantly fuel one another — the show feeds the brands, and the brands keep the family relevant in pop culture.
What Season Are They On Now?
Their Hulu series, The Kardashians, is currently in its sixth season. The show continues the legacy of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, adapted for streaming, giving viewers a new lens on their evolving lives.
